The experimental documentary is a film by, for, and about queer people. Through an exploration of Virginia Woolf’s groundbreaking 1928 novel about an English aristocrat who spontaneously changes sex, Orlando, My Political Biography highlights the experiences of and challenges facing trans people in society today.

Paul B. Preciado has brought a bold new voice to queer filmmaking, showing many facets of the infinite diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community. To paraphrase the film: Tell our stories to survive; Survive to tell our stories.
